Ultracell Rechargeable HRX Battery - Battery Voltage: 12V - Battery Capacity: 7 AH - Waterproof - Lightweight and reliable performance - This technology is commonly used for applications such as inverters, electrical devices, alarm systems and emergency lighting
Features
radio controls and high currents (alarms, telephony, solar panels, emergency lighting, etc.). These rechargeable accumulators or batteries have the advantage of being sealed and maintenance-free (gelled electrolyte).
The nominal voltage of a lead-acid accumulator is 2 volts per cell. A lead-acid accumulator must be charged at a constant voltage not exceeding 2.3V per cell, at a temperature of 20°C.
Lead-acid accumulators must never remain or be stored discharged: the minimum voltage of a battery must not fall below 1.75V per cell, otherwise the accumulator will suffer irreversible damage (for example, a 12V 6AH battery that drops to 7V will no longer be able to take or hold a charge).
Do not use a car battery charger to recharge these 12V batteries, as this would destroy them.
In continuous use, these batteries have a lifespan of 3 to 5 years. We recommend replacing the battery of an alarm system every 3 years, even if it still appears to be in good condition.
